WEST SACRAMENTO, CA — Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 104 has officially added its name to the growing list of labor, public safety, and business organizations supporting Dave Jans for West Sacramento City Council.

Representing craftspeople across northern California who specialize in HVAC, architectural sheet metal, and industrial fabrication, Local 104 backed Jans based on his practical approach to city governance and his long standing commitment to the local community.

“Dave Jans is a practical, dedicated public servant who understands the vital connection between safe neighborhoods, strong infrastructure, and good union careers,” said Bobby Kuks, Business Representative of Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 104. “He has spent decades giving back to West Sacramento, and we know he will bring that same collaborative leadership style to City Hall to support working families.”

A 25 year West Sacramento resident, Jans brings a multi faceted record of local service to his bid for City Council:

  • Retired firefighter with decades of frontline emergency management experience

  • Current West Sacramento Parks and Recreation Commissioner focused on family spaces and neighborhood quality of life

  • Local small business owner with firsthand experience in the regional economy

The endorsement from Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 reinforces the momentum behind Jans’ campaign as he continues meeting residents at community events and neighborhood gatherings across West Sacramento.
